The heaviness of psychological, spiritual, mental, physical & cyber war is triggering in every which way. The heavier it gets, the more my mother mind expands in survival mode. The heavier it gets the more my nervous system is strained. The dysregulation effect on my mother mind is to hyperfixate on extending myself for the sake of others. Forgetting to put my oxygen mask on.
I need to breathe. I need a cosmic shabbat. I need to find silence. I need to slow down. I need to honor my cycle. I need strength. I need the justice system of HaShem.
My mother heart tells me to access my sacred space of deep understanding, containment & intuitive knowing. The mother heart does not rush to fix or control - she listens, and makes space for what is not yet known. Rooting in discernment and patience.
I let go to hold contradiction in a soft trust fall with the divine. I let go to be in touch with my gentleness to help guide life forward.
I release the build up of tightness that is wrecking havoc on my body. I am learning to hold without carrying. I am learning how to lean into my strength of taking pain and transforming it into wisdom, love and light.
When you feel the weight of the world in your muscles and bones, it's time to release.
It's time to make room for Geulah.
Journal Prompt: Holding Without Carrying — A Binah Practice
1. What am I carrying in my body right now?Scan your muscles, bones, and breath. Where do you feel tightness, heaviness, or exhaustion? Describe the sensations in detail.
2. Whose pain or responsibility am I holding that may not be mine?Be honest. What emotions or burdens have you absorbed from others (family, clients, the world)? Can you name them?
3. What would it feel like to witness, rather than carry?Imagine being a sacred vessel—not a sponge. What boundaries or rituals would help you hold with compassion without absorbing the weight?
4. How can I transform what I carry into something meaningful or healing?Consider writing, creating, moving, or praying as a form of processing. What wants to be expressed or released?
5. What does Divine Mother, Shechinah, want to whisper to me now?Close your eyes. Imagine the Shechinah placing Her hand over your heart. What does She want you to know about what you’re holding—and how to let it go?
6.Listen to a good release dance song. I suggest Loosen by Aly Halpert: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-SMvcCGPWA - Allow yourself to release. Let your body do whatver it wants to do within reason and safety. If you want to run around like a chiken without her head or scream into a pillow, go for it! (If you are open to the idea of following your body’s moment to moment guidance it will give you more insight into how you can soothe yourself in the future.)
