Inspired by the Tu B'Shevat seder, songs and blessings I create with my words. The yearning for the land of Yisrael runs deep. Deep like the roots we honor on the new year for the trees. The 7 species of Israel are symbolic, spiritually uplifting, and offer practical lessons. This is one of the best & simple examples I can think of that covers so much of what Judaism stands for. A celebration of humble and mighty beginnings with practical advice to activate.
Tu B'Shevat offers wisdom to the realized relationship between the creator of the world & humankind. This story is found in the relationship between the earth and the sky (rain). The spiritual & the physical are co-pilots in manifesting unique purpose and connection to the divine source.
To nourish the experience we have in our bodies is the ultimate chance to let the soul bloom. The sweet taste of fruit & the effort it takes to sustain such wonder comes down to trust. Do you trust the process where the seed decomposes? Do you trust the process when the growth is underground? It also asks you to be patient. Are you patient enough to say a bracha/blessing before you eat? Do you have gratitude flowing through your roots? Are you patient enough to bloom in the right time?
